As we pray for our families, friends, President and members of the armed forces  we should also include the people of Iraq, not just the innocent civilians, but include the members of their armed forces and government that they may feel the Holy Spirit urging them to join the family of the church of Christ

"For HE so loved The World"

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:14-21)

I John 1:9, where God declares:

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

To "confess" means that we not only admit our sins, but we find in our life that we more and more want to do the will of God, and that desire has really taken hold of us.
God's promises are not hollow. God's promises are not "iffy." God's promises are definite promises.
We cannot save ourselves. God has to work us over. We can pray, "O, Lord, break my will. O, Lord, fill my heart with the desire to be your child. O, Lord, could I have an on-going desire to do your will?"
As you read the Bible, if God is drawing you, you will find that you have greater and greater delight in the Word of God.
Keep pleading with God. There is no other place for us to go. We might start to seek Him intellectually, and we think it would be a good thing to be saved, but deep in our heart, we do not see how we can give up this sin or that sin. Then we become more emotional and fear hell like we have never feared it before, but we keep pleading. God has His own time table. We should never be anxious about how much time has passed. We are to wait upon the Lord; this is a Biblical injunction. We read in Isaiah 40:31:

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

"For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands."--Psalm 91:11-12 (NIV)

God will do His work in His time. Remember that none of us deserves salvation, and yet we have the marvelous privilege that we can plead with God Himself, eternal God Himself, the giver of life.

"We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of heaven, We have been
preserved these many years in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers,
wealth and power as no other nation has ever grown, but we have forgotten God." --Abraham Lincoln

Statement of Faith of the Mission America Coalition

"We've staked the whole future of American civilization not on the power of government, far from it.
We have staked the future of all our political institutions upon the capacity of each and all of us . . .
to Govern ourselves according to the commandments of God.
The future and success of America is not in this Constitution,
but in the laws of God upon which this Constitution is founded."

~~Prayer request~~

This is a prayer request for a man in urgent need of prayer.
I'm asking you TODAY, please take a moment and pray for this man. He is in a
situation that few people find themselves in. He is criticized by many people at every turn, and few people have taken the time to thank him for the things that he has done for them.

A lot of people know this man, but few people know the extent of his situation.
We're quick to criticize when we've never walked in their shoes, and we're slow to pray that God will show them which way to go.

So I'm asking you to stop at some time TODAY, and pray for this man. He needs our urgent prayers that God can give him the guidance he needs to get through this
situation. This man hasn't asked me to do this, but I feel led to do so and I'm sure that he appreciates all your prayers.

I have attached a photo of this man...look at it...

some of you may recognize him...
Please pray for him. Feel free to pass this on to anyone else that will pray for
him. Trust me, if you were facing what he is facing, you'd want people praying for you!

Thanks!!

SEVERE EARTHQUAKES IN FRANCE

March 4, 2003.

Today it was reported that severe earthquakes have occurred in 10 different locations in France. The severity was measured in excess of 10 on the Richter Scale.

The cause was the 56,681 dead American soldiers buried in French soil rolling over in their graves. According to the American Battle Monuments Commission
there are 26,255 Yankee dead from World War I buried in 4 cemeteries in France. There are 30,426 American dead from World War II buried in 6 cemeteries in France. These 56,681 brave American heroes died in their youth to liberate a country which is guilty of shameful unspeakable behavior in the 21st century. May the United States of America never forget their sacrifice as we find ways to forcefully deal with the Godforsaken unappreciative, forgetful country of France!

PASS THIS AROUND! Maybe it will get to someone in France!!!
